LEAD Institute Class: Five Behaviors
Conflict Resolution & Negotiation • Self Awareness & Self-Advocacy • Raising the Heat

Another incredible day at the LEAD Institute!
Our cohort dove deep into the art of negotiation and practiced intervening skillfully, building confidence in navigating complex leadership situations.
A huge thank you to our outstanding guest trainers and coaches—Kathy Sullivan, who brought negotiation strategies to life through engaging roleplay scenarios, and Cathy Posner, who challenged participants to reflect on the leadership qualities they strive to embody each day. Building on these conversations, the group also explored a KLC lesson on “Raising the Heat,” examining how leaders can apply the right amount of pressure to spark progress while maintaining trust and engagement.
The day included a delicious lunch catered by Chick-fil-A of Medina, followed by a fun and memorable social hour—including an impromptu ride with the Medina Pedal Company.
Days like this are a powerful reminder of the value of learning, growing, and leading together.
