Junior Leadership Class of 2026:
Health and Wellness Day

And just like that, the final Junior Leadership class day is in the books—hard to believe how quickly the year has gone!
The day centered on an essential aspect of leadership: caring for both the mind and body. Students began by hearing from Kristin Minichello (LEAD Institute Class of ’25) and Erin Grohe of the Medina County Children’s Center. In addition to learning about the organization’s impact, students contributed by painting rocks to support the upcoming Pinwheel Walk and bring a bit of brightness to children in their care.
Students then participated in QPR Training led by Taylor Volovar (LEAD Class of 2026), gaining valuable tools to recognize when someone may be struggling and how to respond with care and intention.
The day continued with a yoga session led by Kristine Schulze (Signature Class of ’16), offering time to reset and recharge, followed by an interactive experience exploring careers in healthcare with caregivers from Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital.
A special thank you to Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital for sponsoring lunch and helping keep students energized throughout the day.
It was a meaningful and memorable way to close out the Junior Leadership year.
