Upcoming Trauma Informed Care Class

The Ohio State University Extension of Medina County will be holding a Trauma Informed Care class on June 1 in their new space located at 4046 Medina Road, Medina, OH, open to all!  The class teaches the definition of Trauma and Trauma Informed Care, how studies with a focus on other health care issues unexpectedly uncovered undiagnosed trauma, impacts of trauma, how to identify potential trauma in others, and tools for communicating with and nurturing individuals who have been traumatized.  The course was created as a collaboration between OSU and SAMHSA. Kyle White and her co-teacher are both certified instructors.

It is a 3 hour class and is $10 / person.
