Leadership Medina County Welcomes LeighAnn Garver as Director of Community Impact

Leadership Medina County (LMC) is pleased to announce the hiring of LeighAnn Garver as its new Director of Community Impact.
LeighAnn joins Leadership Medina County from United Way of Summit & Medina, where she served as Manager of Corporate Engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance and brings extensive experience in relationship building, community engagement, strategic partnerships, and nonprofit leadership.
A results-driven and relationship-focused professional, Garver is recognized for her ability to build trust, strengthen partnerships, and create meaningful growth opportunities. Her expertise in developing authentic connections, identifying community needs, and delivering impactful solutions has made her a respected leader throughout Medina County.
"LeighAnn's passion for Medina County and her commitment to giving back to our community are at the heart of why she was selected for this position," stated Jennifer Bilek, Executive Director. "Combined with her experience in both financial institutions and nonprofit organizations, she brings a unique perspective and skill set that will help advance Leadership Medina County's mission and impact."
Garver has demonstrated a deep commitment to community involvement throughout Medina County. In addition to her work with United Way, she is actively engaged with the Medina County Economic Development Corporation and the county's Chambers of Commerce. She was recently accepted into the Medina Kiwanis Satellite Club, volunteers at her children's school, and participates annually in the Medina County Fair alongside her family.
A multi-generational Medina County resident, Garver is also a graduate of the Signature Class of 2025. Since then, she has continued her involvement by serving on the Finance Committee, Agriculture Day Planning Committee, and Signature Class Selection Committee. She also served as co-alumni advisor for the Networking and Mentoring Committee.
Through her committee involvement and volunteer leadership, Garver has developed a strong understanding of Leadership Medina County's mission, programs, opportunities, and future goals.
"I am very excited to begin this new chapter with Leadership Medina County—building connections, strengthening community engagement, and growing alongside inspiring leaders who are passionate about making an impact," said Garver.
As Director of Community Impact, she will focus on strengthening community partnerships, expanding engagement opportunities, supporting leadership development initiatives, and helping advance Leadership Medina County's mission of developing leaders who positively impact Medina County.
Leadership Medina County is excited to welcome LeighAnn to the team and looks forward to the passion, experience, and leadership she will bring to the organization and the community it serves.
