Leadership Medina County Celebrates Terri Greene’s Upcoming Retirement and Announces Pause of LEAD Institute for Program Redesign

Medina, Ohio – [January 26, 2026] — Leadership Medina County (LMC) announced today that the LEAD Institute program will pause following the completion of the 2025–2026 class year, coinciding with the upcoming retirement of Terri Greene, longtime program director and architect of the LEAD experience.

Terri, who has guided hundreds of growth-minded leaders through the LEAD Institute, will retire on June 1, 2026, after the current program concludes. This timing provides a natural opportunity for LMC to reflect on the program’s success under her leadership and to reimagine how leadership development will be delivered in the years ahead.

“Terri’s passion for developing leaders has shaped the professional landscape of Medina County,” said Jennifer Bilek, Executive Director for LMC. “Her dedication and creativity have set a strong foundation for LMC’s future, and we are excited to continue building on that legacy as we design the next evolution of the LEAD program.”

LMC’s Board of Trustees approved a resolution to pause the program after this year to support an intentional redesign aligned with the organization’s strategic growth goals. The organization will use this transitional period to gather input from alumni, community partners, and local employers. 

This is not the end of LEAD- it’s an opportunity to evolve. “We’re taking what Terri has built and finding new ways to expand its reach, increase participation, and ensure it continues to make a strong impact across Medina County.”

Leadership Medina County will continue to offer other leadership programs, including Junior Leadership and the Signature Class, which together strengthen the county’s network of talented and engaged leaders.
