Junior Leadership Class of 2027: History Day

Junior Leaders kicked off the day by exploring an essential leadership skill: self-regulation! Students learned strategies for managing emotions and navigating conflict—skills that are just as important in leadership as they are in everyday life.
Next, they explored Medina County’s rich history through a presentation on the county’s past, interviewed local veterans to hear their stories firsthand, and visited Root Candles to learn about the company’s history and its place in Medina County.
The day wrapped up with THE HUNT!
Junior Leaders headed to historic Medina Square for a scavenger hunt that brought them inside local businesses, introduced them to the people and places that make our community unique, and put their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to the test. It was a chance to explore our community while putting their leadership skills into action!
Is THE HUNT reserved for Medina County’s bravest, sharpest, most leadership-savvy students? Naturally!
A big thank-you to Veterans Memorial Hall for generously sponsoring lunch for our Junior Leaders and helping make the day a success!
