Project: Learn of Medina County Seeking Board Members

Project: Learn of Medina County’s mission is to enhance lives and strengthen communities by helping adults improve fundamental skills in reading, problem-solving, and the English language.

If your passion is helping people in our community to have better lives, success in the workplace and a love of reading, then serving on the Board of Director’s of Project: Learn, may be the place for you! We are looking for board members who have a passion for literacy, but also have a desire to be active in the community around them to bring awareness of Project: Learn’s mission.

Board meetings are typically the 3 rd Thursday of the month in the evenings at the downtown Medina Library.  Discussion involves fundraising, budgets, association business, and bookstores.  Commitment also includes actively sitting or chairing a committee, such as fundraising, operations, or grant writing as examples.
