How is the program structured?
The program begins on a Saturday in October with an Orientation Session to build confidence and unity within the group. During the class year four days are structured around specific topics which provide hands-on experiences, the opportunity to meet business and community leaders, and experience on-site visits. The topics include: county history, health care, human services, business, agriculture, and local government. A Saturday Closing Retreat gives students time to plan for a class project. For most of the year the day begins and ends at the Medina County Career Center, 1101 West Liberty Street, Medina. Bus transportation during the day is provided. a |
