Mobile Millennials in the Workplace
Join LMC Alumni and the public in a conversation about the millennial generation in the workplace and how to best work together. This is a unique time where 4 generations can be working together within one organization.  What can we learn from each other? How can we best communicate?

Coffee and a continental breakfast included.
Registration is open for Mobile Millenials in the Workplace. This special Alumni Education event is on Friday, April 11, from 7:45 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at The University of Akron Medina County University Center. Unlock the Millennial Generation potential in your office by attending this great educational event. The event will feature a continental breakfast, millennial panel, speakers, and more!

This is the first time in American history that we have had four different generations working side-by-side in the workplace.

Research indicates that people communicate based on their generational backgrounds. Each generation has distinct attitudes, behaviors, expectations, habits and motivational buttons. Learning how to communicate with the different generations can eliminate many major confrontations and misunderstandings in the workplace and the world of business.

Pay online below or print the registration form to send by mail. Download the form here.

Questions for the Millennial Panel will be taken by Twitter or by notecard that morning. Join the conversation at @LeadershipMC on Twitter using #LMCpanel . You can sign up for Twitter in advance at

How to use hashtags (#) to categorize Tweets by keyword on Twitter:
  • People use the hashtag symbol # before a relevant keyword or phrase (no spaces) in their Tweet to categorize those Tweets and help them show more easily in Twitter Search.
  • Clicking on a hashtagged word in any message shows you all other Tweets marked with that keyword.
  • Hashtags can occur anywhere in the Tweet – at the beginning, middle, or end.
  • Hashtagged words that become very popular are often Trending Topics.
  • Example Tweet "@LeadershipMC #LMCpanel What do you beleive makes an organziation an attractive employer?"
