The Leadership Medina County Class of 2011 will examine various businesses/companies that are "thriving in tough timess" around Medina County.
Leadership Competencies that will be examined include:
- Managerial Courage-saying what needs to be said to the right person, in the right manner. It means providing current, direct feedback to others (both positive and corrective feedback).
- Building Effective Teams is the ability to build a group of skilled individuals, getting them to pull together and accomplish greater things than they could individually. It involves: a common cause, good communication, shared mindset, a climate of acceptance, innovation and experimentation, and an atmosphere of fun.
