Debra Lynn-Schmitz, Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce, was selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). ACCE’s  mission is to develop chamber professionals.  There are 7,800 professional members in 1400 chambers across the United States.

Beth Kilchenman, American Red Cross of Medina County is moving to a new location  at 780 E. Smith Road, Suite A,  Medina, Ohio, on April 1.

Ron Paydo, FirstMerit Bank, was honored with a Rosie Award for Distinguished Service by the Wadsworth Chamber of Commerce.

 

’02  The Enlightened

Dr. Christine Beiling-Sheerer, Medina Vision and Laser Centre, Inc., and partner have moved their practice to a new larger facility located at 4463 Weymouth Road, Medina.

 

Jerry Fiume, NAI Cummins, has joined the firm as an Account Executive. His 20+ years of experience in real estate sales and leasing and extensive knowledge of property management, appraisals, construction and land development will continue to expand their services in Northeast Ohio.

Valerie Rapp, Homestead Insurance Agency, Inc., is serving as Secretary/Treasurer of Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce 2010 Board of Directors.

Kristi Jack, FirstMerit Bank, was nominated for a Rosie Award as the Business Leader of the Year by the Wadsworth Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Tim Earley, O.D. Medina Vision and Laser Centre, Inc. and partner have moved their practice  to a new larger facility located at 4463 Weymouth Road, Medina.

 

’08  That Class

Lisa Rivedal, Weight Watchers International, is serving on the Tobacco Coalition of Medina County Committee and the Hunger Task Force for Medina County.

 

Tom Morris,  a member of Palecek, McIlvaine, Hoffmann & Morse Co., LPA, along with Mary Jo Morse, former LMC Trustee and partner were on hand as their firm received a Rosie Award for “Outstanding Commercial Construction Improvement or Restoration” by the Wadsworth Chamber of Commerce, for their newly renovated offices at 273 Main Street, Suite 200, Wadsworth, site of the old Ohio Injector.

 

Dave Williams, Williams Investment Services, LLC, is a guest speaker on a show sponsored by the Family First Council and broadcast on Armstrong Cable Channel 37.  Dave and Mead Wilkins’97, discuss economic conditions for Medina County and offer investing ideas and suggestions for seniors.  The first show is now running and a second is in production.

 

’09  A Class Act

Mark Shupe, FirstMerit Bank, has been named President of the Medina County Estate Planning Council for 2010 and Treasurer of the Western Reserve Rowing Association.

John Bechke, CQ Printing, The company was recognized in 2009 as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio based on revenues from 2004-2008, as a Weatherhead Upstart winner.  These are companies whose percentage of sales growth qualified for the Weatherhead 100 and in their case, has 15 or fewer employees.

 

Rob Stall, Medina Hospital, received the Greater Cleveland Council 2009 Eagle Scout Class Honor on February 21.  Rob was selected for the honor because of his excellent leadership in his professional, community and military life.  Many Cleveland Clinic employees attended the event as sponsors and supporters of Rob’s honor.
