As one LMC participant commented, "Agriculture Day should be bring-your-child-to-Leadership day." Truer words have not been spoken. There has not been any other LMC day in which class members text pictures home to their children or comment that they want to go back to the location with their families (okay, maybe we said that about the Career Center on Education Day).

Over 200 LMC Alumni, guests and those interested in being part of the next LMC Class were captivated by Connie Dieken’s presentation, “Talk Less, Say More”. February the Long View
LMC Class of 2012 member, Gretchen Long of Westfield Insurance, shares her Education Day experience. Do you wish you had started college with a year of general education credits at no cost? Would you be impressed if you saw a brand new invention that you would purchase, and then you learned that a 17-year-old holds the patent? Would you want your daughter to leave high school certified to work as a vet tech in order to pay for college and veterinarian school?

LMC Class of 2012 member, Gretchen Long shares her views on this class experience. Health & Human Services – it’s a phrase that rolls off the tongue as easily and peanut butter & jelly. When you really boil it down in the way it was for Leadership Medina County, these two subject matters don’t have a lot to do with each other.

Lasting Impressions
When young people experience Junior Leadership, what do they see? The students themselves can best answer that question.
