"Thom is very deserving of this award because he is involved in all aspects of our community," wrote one of Thom's fans. Thom is the CEO of Lodi Community Hospital which has become an anchor for the community providing health care and encouraging wellness through various classes and related support groups.
Thom also serves on many boards in the community. He is a member of both the Lodi and the Seville Chambers of Commerce. He serves on the Boy Scouts of America Great Trails Council, the American Cancer Society and the Ohio Hospital Associations. |
| Under his leadership, Lodi Community Hospital saw an amazing improvement in all areas of the hospital's facilities. He led the process to become a fully accredited Critical Access Hospital which resulted in Lodi Community Hospital being named the top rated hospital in the Akron Cleveland area by Consumer's Report. |
| Thom is a supporter of LMC and recently was part of a panel presentation to the Class of 2010 on Health Care Day along with the presidents of Medina Hospital and Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. "We're competitors, sure, but all of us (the county's hospital CEOs) are dedicated and focused on improving life for our citizens in this county and beyond," remarked Thom. |
