     "Excellent" schools are a contributing factor to the steady growth of Medina County as many families move to the county.  LMC classes visit many of these schools for Education Day and meet all of the superintendents.
 

     Of the seven districts 3 LMC alumni are superintendents:  Dale Fortner, Class of 2001 is superintendent of Wadsworth City Schools, Brian Williams, Class of 2005 is the new superintendent of Buckeye Local Schools and Michael Mayell is the superintendent of Brunswick City Schools.
 

     The Ohio school district report cards measure 26 standards including 24 state tests over various grade levels, attendance and graduation rates.
