Since Summa broke ground in January 2010, construction crews have been hard at work on the $7.86 million project which will add 20,000 square feet and a helicopter landing pad to the Summa Health System’s Medina Campus.

The new emergency department will be staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians trained for both adult and pediatric emergencies. Hospital officials expect at least 40 more jobs will be created by the addition of the ER.

And there will be a community room where LMC Alumni will gather on Wednesday, November 30, 7:45 to 9:00 am. Enter through the emergency department doors for networking, coffee, a continental breakfast, talk and tour. Please call the office for a count by November 28.
