’93 The Best
Paula Banks, Community Volunteer, received word that after being declared Missing in Action in March 1966, the remains of her brother, Staff Sgt. Samuel E. Hewitt were found on September 20, 2010. A memorial service at Waite & Son’s Funeral Home will be followed by full military honors at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.

Barbara Dzur, Gerspacher Real Estate Group, will be the "notable woman" at the December 13 Lunch with a Notable Woman series of the Medina Women's Network, meeting at Rustic Hills Country Club.
 
’94 The Finest
Sandy Calvert, HANDS Foundation, and husband Chuck, welcomed granddaughter Lucy Catherine, aka LC. This is grandchild number six, balancing the number to three boys and three girls.  Sadly we offer condolences to her and her family on the death of her sister.
 
’95 The Greatest
Sharon Ray, Medina County Commissioner, was honored at a Commissioner Roast and Appreciation Dinner on November 4. Sharon's term as Medina County Commissioner concludes at the end of this year. She was elected to serve as Commissioner in 2002 and again in 2006.
 
’98 The Favorite
Nancy Abbott, Medina Municipal Court, has been elected to serve as President of the Kiwanis Club of Medina for the 2010-2011 year. She also serves as Vice President of the United Way of Medina County Board of Trustees.

Nancy Sprowls, Medina County Arts Council, is an honorary advisory board member for ORMACO (Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach)

Sharon Danko, Medina County Probate and Juvenile Court, was among 42 court administrators, clerks of court, probation supervisors, and program managers from courts throughout Ohio to graduate from the Court Management Program (CMP) of the Institute for Court Management, which is the educational arm of the National Center for State Courts. The NCSC is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the administration of justice by providing leadership, research, technology, education, service and training to the state courts.
 
Joanna Perrino, WCTV, has been appointed to serve as Secretary of the Wadsworth Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She also serves as Chairperson of the Chamber’s Fund raising Committee.
 
’08 THAT Class
Rich Doyle, 
Doyle Financial Services, was featured in the Post Newspaper for his watercolor collages depicting images, historic buildings and landmarks of local villages and towns, mot recently of Hinckley.  Others include Sharon Township, Medina, Wadsworth, Granville, and The Ohio State University.

Thomas Sigel, T Sigel Consulting/Sigel Press, has established a new arts organization to provide outreach to the region. The organization ORMACO (Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach) will have several components with the mission of educating and enriching peoples lives. ORMACO plans to collaborate with regional hospitals to create music, cultural and arts wellness programs, including art and music therapy. Jason Graf, Ferrell-Whited Physical Therapy, has recently broken ground for a 20 x 25 foot indoor, inground aquatic therapy pool at their office on E. Washington Street, Medina.

Rob Stall, Medina Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital, welcomed new grandson Daniel Alexander, born in October.
 
John Coyne, III, Roetzel & Andress, was featured in the November/December issue of Inside Business magazine as a Leading Lawyer. John also serves on the Medina City Council.
 
Angela Smith, Rea & Associates, Inc., has returned to Rea & Associates as a Supervisor.
 
Julie Boyle, Attorney, is serving on the Board for ORMACO (Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach)
