MCEDC honors LMC alumni

The Medina County Business Awards were presented during the MCEDC's Twelfth Annual Autumn Speaker Series at Blair Center on October 28. In addition to Barbara's award, other LMC alumni recognized are as follows:

Sandridge Food Corporation, and controller Mark Dolan,’99, won in the category of Sustainability and Environmental Improvement. This award honors a Medina County company that implements strategies for long term sustainability and adopts behaviors and practices to secure the county’s environmental future.

Whited Physical Therapy Services, and owner, Jason Graf, ’09 won in the category of Small Business Enterprise which honors a Medina County owned and operated business with less that 50 employees and/or less than $3 million in total revenues demonstrating long term commitment to sound business practices in operation, management and sustainability.

Medina Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital, and president, Rob Stall, ’10 won in the category of Capital Investment which honors a Medina County business with a capital investment of more than $500,000 during the calendar year 2009, that has provided a sustainable increase in revenue and/or employment or has enhanced the community’s appeal by expanding, building or renovation a structure in the county.
