Golf Outing Fun in Perfect Weather
After a month of rain the sun came out as promised for the 20th LMC Golf Scramble at Fox Meadow Country Club.  Teams like the Warner Tech Team, left, enjoyed grilled sandwiches before the outing.  Most took advantage of mulligans and strategic use of a “string” game during the outing to post some impressive scores. More.

Thanking Our Golf Sponsors
A special thanks to our sponsors for supporting our LMC Golf Outing.  All proceeds raised will benefit  programming & scholarships for the LMC and JrLMC Class of 2012. Pictured are one of the Gold Sponsors, the Philpott Rubber Company Team. Read who.

JrLMC Aligning to True North
Our Junior Leadership program now has eight years of history.  That history has been incredibly productive and positive: over 250 graduates from every corner of the county, a continually growing list of corporate and civic participants and supporters, and outstanding cooperation and partnership from our county school districts.  More.

 Gradtitude from a Graduate
A welcome, unsolicited note from Daisy Glaeser (JrLMC Class of 2011, pictured at left with her father Ray), appeared on our JrLMC Facebook page recently.  Because of both its specific content and its overall reflection of gratitude, I believe it bears sharing with all who support our Jr. Leadership program and its participants.  Read.

"What I've
Learned from LMC"
 Class 2011

I've learned that Medina County is blessed with strong caring people .

I've learned the importance of communication in leadership.  It's important because it leads to involvement by others.  The leader has to foster communication.

Now that I'm aware of all the vast resources and innovations here in Medina County, I feel more equipped to contribute.

I've learned that some of the best leaders bring resources together and I will continue to look for those opportunities.

Although leadership styles may vary, they can all be effective.

I"ve learned to remember that together we can achieve more than on our own and possess the confidence to be a leader and spark that in someone else.
