| Leadership Medina County Seeking Projects for Class of 2011 |

Are you a nonprofit organization and have a project you haven't been able to accomplish? Consider submitting it to the this year's Class of 2011. Previous classes have devised one, like the food drive pictured at left. This year the class will "adopt" one or more service projects from proposals submitted by nonprofit organizations. Deadline is August 25, 2010. Details. |

The Awards Committee and the Leadership Medina County Board of Trustees are proud to announce the recipients of the fourth “Celebrating Excellence in Leadership” Awards. These outstanding individuals will be honored at a dinner on December 1 at Weymouth Country Club.

| Changing of the Leadership Medina County Board |

Past President Mark Dorman,'01 will be stepping off of the Leadership Medina County Board after completing two terms, while Sandy Neuman '06, will be stepping down as LMC president and into his place. Mark is now the Chair of the Medina County Economic Development Board of Trustees where Sandy is the Executive Assistant. Details.

Not so long ago, Junior Leadership was a dream, a vision of a group of leaders committed to empowering others to lead. Today the program has seven years of history and over 200 graduates. History buffs know that we are continually passing from one era to the next. Be part of history.

In Memorium
Laurence (Larry) Fligor, '92 member of the Leadership Medina County Charter Class and a Trustee on the founding Board of LMC passed away on July 11. He believed strongly in the tenents of Leadership Medina County: education, connection and involvment. And his life reflected that. More.

Class Notable
Dick Indoe,’99, former LMC board member, owner of Richman Farms, and a familiar face to a decade of Leadership Alumni, will be receiving a state wide honor. This July 29 Dick will be inducted into the Ohio State Fair Hall of Fame. Those who have visited his farm on Agriculture Day know the work that goes into his dairy operation.Congratulations!
