| Commissioners Declare May 1: Medina Co Smoke Out |
| Members from the LMC Class of 2011, in partnership with the Medina County Drug Abuse Commission and the Medina County Tobacco Prevention Coalition as well as representatives from local hospitals are putting together a major effort in Medina County to stop smoking as one of the Class of 2011's class projects. Rob Stall, LMC Class of 2010 and President of Medina Hospital, was given additional responsibilities as the Assistant to the President of Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals a number of months ago. That would be enough for most of us but not for Rob. He has another career. More.

| Approximately forty alumni gathered at the “crack of dawn” for coffee, muffins and a tour of the Rohrer Corporation in Wadsworth to learn about “clamshell” and “blister” packaging, which, as consumers often know, can lead to “wrap rage.” More. |

| Will Koran ‘95 and his team devised an Education Day for the Class of 2011 that had a mix of everything from a science lab in Buckeye Intermediate School, to lunch prepared by students in the Medina Co Career Center, to a round table discussion with superintendents in the Brunswick High School Media Center.
