LMC Class Member Steve Viny '11 Wins Innovator Award

| The Innovator of the year Award was given to Steve by the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) Buckeye Chapter. This award is given for significant contributions that result in innovative solutions to the management of solid waste. |
|
Engineered Fuel is a light combustible fraction that can be burned in lieu of coal in existing utility boilers. Both Engineered Fuel and MiniMRF technology are designed to conserve landfill space and direct material back into valuable reuse applications. These innovations when coupled with other technologies, have the potential to reduce landfill volume by an estimated 90% in the future.
