Junior Leadership Medina County, Building on History
The challenges of the era of developing a successful new program – creating a vision and a purpose, designing a plan, drawing in people to implement it, and attracting your desired population to participate – have been met.
With a strong history supporting us, we now enter a new era. This is the time to examine the past and envision the future. It is a time to celebrate the commitment of many good people and expand that base of supporters.
It is our opportunity to shift our focus from those core development issues to those aspects of the program that can make us broader, more, diverse and more effective.
What aspects might those be? It might be drawing more on our alumni to give us a clearer vision of how to be our best. It may well be improving our communication through the use of social media tools. And like so many other education/development arenas are finding, the direction may be one that we have not even yet envisioned.
We welcome your participation in putting clearer focus on that vision. Please join us for our annual Jr. Leadership Planning Day Wednesday, August 11 from 9-11am at the Medina Library, Community Room A. If you are interested in attending, or are unable to attend but would still like to be a part of this year’s Jr. Leadership program, please contact me at jrlmc@leadershipmedinacounty.org or at 330.721.7118.
How exciting to be living out this great chapter in our history!
