     The LMC Class of 2011 Project Team has undertaken an initiative to make Medina County a nonsmoking community by holding the first "Medina County Smoke Out" on May 1.  Due to the rain, this event will take place at Stony Hill Church located at 2756 Stony Hill Drive, Medina.  There will be booths with smoking cessation literature to help those that smoke to stop smoking, live music, a speaker, Laura Loew , followed by a candlelight vigil and the filming of a video.

     Team members Kathy Breitenbucher and Pastor Shannon Blower have been working with a film crew creating a You Tube Video with plans to incorporate the Smoke Out Candlelight Vgil on the square  so please wear black.  This video will be posted on You Tube to spread the fact that Medina County is aiming to be a no smoking county.
