     President Keith Nichols welcomed the group and shared PT Tech’s role in one of the most remarkable tunneling feats in the last century, building the Channel Tunnel (aka the Chunnel).
     This undersea rail tunnel connects the UK to France with a high speed train, the EuroStar.  PT Tech was instrumental in provided innovative power train parts used in that mining equipment.

     Next, LMC alum Jim Doutt ’99 introduced us to the four companies under the EBO Group “umbrella” and the very diverse markets that they serve. Jim’s economic development background was evident as he noted EBO Group’s contribution to the Medina County economy.  EBO Group not only employs many Medina County residents, but also uses local manufacturing companies and other businesses whenever possible.

     “Think extreme machines,” said LMC alum Gregg Cullins,’09 during his presentation on PT Tech’s future growth.  Gregg talked about the importance of his company’s shared values in guiding the growth and developing markets in the United States and abroad, especially in China.  Those shared values of integrity, excellence, accountability, agility and passion were the culmination of discussions within the company by all of the employee/owners.
