Collaboration is the key. Programs offered at Midpoint by Lorain County Community College (LCCC) include associate degrees in Computer and Digital Forensics and Industrial Computer Applications Specialist, the Nurse Aide Training (STNA) short-term program, the Early Childhood Education certificate program and other general transfer-level courses. University of Akron (UA) is currently offering the Master of Education program at Midpoint and bachelor’s level courses will be added soon. Non-credit courses on a variety of topics are also offered at Midpoint.

The Midpoint Campus Center is in an area identified as the “Innovation Corridor” by the two educational institutions in their development of an Innovation Alliance, a collaborative effort developed in 2008 to align strengths and resources of both institutions. UA and LCCC have a longstanding tradition of educational and business collaborations. UA was one of the first universities to join LCCC in its University Partnership on the LCCC campus.

The Midpoint Campus Center is conveniently located on Pearl Road, just south of Boston Road in the Highland Square office building. The Midpoint Campus Center is in the middle of an educationally under served geographical sector where eastern Lorain County and the cities of Strongsville and Brunswick meet.
