The Program Days
After selection into the class, the year begins with an Orientation Session  which  builds confidence, team work and unity within the group.

The next program day is a  unique Leadership Development Day allowing students to better understand their leadership skills through discussions with  recognized leaders in the county.  

Other topic days include:  Personal Family and Medina County History, Health Care/Human Services, Business Development and Career Options and the workings of Local Government.  		 Students learn about each other at the Junior Leadership Medina County Opening Retreat.

A Saturday Closing Retreat gives students time to plan a class service project to put their energies to good use. 
 
Two graduates of Junior Leadership Medina County share stories about their experinece. The JrLMC Class graduates at an evening celebration open to LMC alumni, school officials, parents and JrLMC graduates.

Logistics:  Other than the Closing Retreat, the class day begins and ends at the Medina County Career Center.  Transportation during the class day is provided as are meals and snacks.  Transportation to and from the Career Center is up to the student.  Four JrLMC days occur on school days, the others do not.
