The Class of 2010 rose to the challenge. After much debate on likely projects, the class decided to provide forty “resources for troubled times” a way to help the newly unemployed families become self reliant. Jon Bluebond, Maureen Mizerak, Phillip Titterington, Lori Hogue, Sharon Yarnell, Mike Kovack, Chuck Ricco and Cheryl Mason comprised the Class of 2010 Project Steering Committee. Class members joined subcommittees in their area of interest and donated money in addition to time gathering and compiling the resources.

| “Resources” included a thick binder of contact numbers, web sites, addresses and names of over thirty area service agencies ranging from job training to mental health all of which families could use. “Resources” included a colorful box of items donated from class members, area businesses, the medical community and others. “Resources” were personal care items, passes to recreation and entertainment centers, free family activities, seed packets, gas cards and grocery store gift cards. |
