Brian Fisher, President

| Brian Fisher is Senior Vice President of Business Banking for FirstMerit Bank. He is a member of the “Enterprising” Class of 2006. Brian is serving his first term on the Board of Trustees and now holds the office of President of the Board. He has served on the Golf Planning Committee for the past two years and as Master of Ceremonies for the 2007 Golf Outing. Brian was also a member of one of the three foursomes that tied for first place at the 2008 Outing.
Involvement with Leadership Medina County has enriched his life by providing him with a greater appreciation for all that Medina County has to offer and a greater knowledge of where we need to work together and improve. Brian also serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of Medina County.
Brian and his wife Tonia live in Granger Township with their son Aiden. Along with golf, he also enjoys basketball, reading and movies.
When asked to identify a personal mentor who has influenced his leadership development, Brian states, “In working with Ron Paydo over the last 4 ½ years, I’ve seen the power of building lasting relationships, both internally and in the community, and the positive impact it has on becoming a respected leader.”
The personal advice that has inspired him is: "Understand who you are and what you believe in…Be yourself….Be consistant."
