Colleen Rice Named New ED of LMC
Colleen Rice has been named Executive Director of Leadership Medina County (LMC). She has been the Community Relations Specialist and Public Information Officer at the Medina County Health Department for the past eight years. Rice is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Medina County. She will begin working as the Executive Director on June 3, 2013.

LMC Graduates 22nd Class on May 22
On May 22 LMC Alumni and guests will gather at the new Shale Creek Golf Club to celebrate the graduation of the 22nd class of Leadership Medina County, the Class of 2013. Join us in the celebration and help make this graduation special.

Todd Writes About Environment Quality of Life Day
It was a beautiful day as the Class of 2013 gathered at the Wolf Creek Environmental Center for the first three presentations of the day. Commissioner Pat Geissman spoke first, explaining her leadership style of determining a need, attacking it, and then forming a task force or committee to further a particular cause. By illustration, Commissioner Geissman discussed the genesis of Feed Medina County, a group familiar to many members of the current class.

Think Golf on June 3
Welcome spring to Ohio by signing up for the LMC Golf Scramble June 3. Play a round with teammates and friends at one of the county's great courses, Weymouth Country Club. If you have time, sign up for the free chipping clinic at 10:30 am before the outing.

Wadsworth Community Center
On Wednesday April 24 thirty-six alumni attended the Breakfast Out & About at the new Wadsworth Community Center. The group was treated to coffee, tea, orange juice and pastries provided by Windfall Industries through the Soprema Senior Center’s Café.
