Leadership Medina County, building dynamic community leaders. |
|
Leadership Medina County prepares and engages individuals for community leadership roles in Medina County through education, leadership skill development and relationship building.
The Program Year
The first step is the Program Year. Approximately 40 adults are selected into a class and participate, one day a month for nine months, in unique learning experiences featuring leadership skill development and community education.
Application Information provides more details.
A class service project is part of the Program Year. Projects have ranged from adult education (bringing the Disney Keys To Excellence, Leadership Seminar, to Medina County) to focusing on emerging leaders (starting our Junior LMC program).
Alumni
After graduation our 550 alumni remain active in the county in a variety of ways from serving on boards and commissions to developing new initiatives. Last year our alumni contributed over 20,000 service hours to our county.
Our Alumni Programs and Directory of Graduates
LMC offers our alumni education opportunities and networking experiences through out the year since leadership is a life long investment. Members can contact graduates through the Alumni Directory and an on-line directory.
